As Qualifying Broker for ARC Realty's Lake Martin office and ARC Realty Referral Company, I serve in a broad leadership role focused on brokerage operations, agent support and development, training, risk management, and business growth. I work closely with ARC Realty's brokers, leadership team, and staff to provide agents with practical guidance and timely assistance while helping develop and deliver training programs across the company. I also have a strong interest in emerging technology and artificial intelligence and how these tools can be used responsibly and effectively to help real estate professionals improve their businesses and better serve their clients.
Having lived in the Montgomery River Region for most of my life, I consider it a privilege to have built both my career and my life in the communities I serve. I graduated from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, where I attended on a baseball scholarship and earned a degree in Business Management. I later earned a master's degree in Secondary Education from Troy State University and completed my teaching certification at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). My background in both business and education has been especially valuable throughout a career that has increasingly combined real estate brokerage, leadership, teaching, and professional development.
I began my real estate career in February 1987, and February 2027 will mark my 40th anniversary in the real estate profession. During that time, I have had the opportunity to serve as a real estate professional, qualifying broker, trainer, industry leader, and mentor while working with generations of buyers, sellers, agents, and fellow real estate professionals throughout Central Alabama.
Professional service has also been an important part of my career. I am a former President of the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® and have served for many years on committees and in leadership positions with both the Association and Multiple Listing Service. At the national level, I have also served with the National Association of REALTORS® through its Broker Engagement Committee and Risk Management initiatives. These roles have provided opportunities to contribute to real estate leadership, education, governance, professional standards, and risk management at both the local and national levels.
Developing and supporting real estate professionals continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I oversee and participate in ARC Realty's ongoing agent training and professional development programs, including Momentum Mondays, ARC Realty Boot Camp Training, ARC Workshop Training, continuing education courses, and other programs designed to support agents throughout their careers. Training topics extend beyond contracts and transactions to include business planning, client relationships, problem-solving, risk management, technology, artificial intelligence, and the practical skills necessary to build and maintain a successful real estate business.
As Qualifying Broker for ARC Realty Lake Martin and ARC Realty Referral Company, I remain actively involved in brokerage leadership while continuing to work directly with buyers and sellers. I serve clients throughout Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Lake Jordan, Lake Martin, and surrounding Central Alabama communities, with experience in both residential and commercial real estate as well as lake and recreational properties.
After nearly four decades in the profession, I still believe successful real estate comes down to relationships, knowledge, communication, and service. Whether I am helping a client buy or sell property, assisting an agent with a challenging transaction, teaching a class, or helping develop the next generation of real estate professionals, my goal is the same: to provide clear communication, practical guidance, dependable leadership, and experience people can trust.
